Background
SNV the Netherlands Development Organization is an international not-for-profit development organization working in over 26 developing countries for more than 50 years. In
Rwanda, SNV has been working for more than 30 years to improve people‘s livelihoods by strengthening the capacities of public and private sector organizations. SNV works in full
alignment with Rwanda's development agenda. It does so by helping to realize the national development goals in three sectors: Agriculture; Renewable Energy; and Water, Sanitation
and Hygiene. SNV supports development in these sectors by working with government, civil society, and private sector organizations. lt does so by providing three types of interrelated
services: capacity development, knowledge development, and supporting evidence-based policy dialogue by national stakeholders.
Program summary
Voice for Change Partnership (V4CP) programme is a multi-country and multi-sector program. The program is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS) and is implemented in six countries, Kenya, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Honduras and Indonesia. This five-year program 2016-2020 aims to strengthen the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs} to advocate for a conducive enabling environment in WASH,
Renewable Energy, Food and Nutrition Security and Resilience.
ln Rwanda the program will focus on Sustainable Nutrition for All (SN4A) with an emphasis on food security and Nutrition Sensitive Value Chains. The program will be implemented in
conjunction with IFPRI under the leadership of SNV.
Under the Food and Nutrition Security, the program will advocate on four issues
