1. Background

2. Project Overview
With PEPFAR funds from the United States Agency for International Development, Pact is implementing the Zambia Community HIV Prevention Project in 11 high-HIV burdened districts in six provinces of Zambia. The goal is to reduce new HIV infections in Zambia Objective No. 3 of the Project is Actions adopted by communities to reduce young women's vulnerability to HIV, unwanted pregnancy and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence. It is under this objective where the DREAMS component of the project is implemented. DREAMS, which stands for Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored and Safe aims to empower Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) to reduce vulnerability to HIV. One area of empowerment is education and economic strengthening of AGYW under which the digital literacy intervention is offered. AGYW are equipped with basic digital literacy knowledge and skills to enable them safely and profitably manipulate and navigate the internet, social media and other electronic platforms and resources using digital tools such as computers. AGYW are also equipped with digital literacy knowledge and skills for employability purposes. It is against this backdrop that this call for digital literacy consultancy services is made.
3. Digital Literacy Services Provision and Training Consultancy Call Pact is looking for a firm, organization, individuals, or a group of individuals that can constitute or have constituted to provide digital literacy training to 2000 AGYW beginning 1" December 2021
4. Digital Literacy Training Consultancy Objectives and Deliverables
The objectives of the consultancy are to:
Provide digital literacy training to 2000 AGYW in the districts of Kabwe, Kapiri Mposhi, Chipata and Kasama
Provide post-graduation mentorship to the upper 30 percentile of the highest performing AGYW
The deliverables of the consultancy are:
2000 AGYW equipped with basic digital literacy knowledge and skills 4.4 30% of each district's trained AGYW to be provided with post-graduation mentorship
Submission of monthly reports outlining consultancy implementation progress, successes, challenges and areas of improvement 4.6 Final consultancy report submitted by 30 August 2022
