JOB DETAILS:

Its recent programming areas include: nutrition, agriculture, food security, HIV/AIDS, WASH, financial inclusion, and early child development.
Background
CRS wishes to engage services of a consultant to be conducting surveys on behalf of the Organization as and when they is need to conduct a survey, study, Assessment, Evaluation and any other needed assignments. The consultancy company to be selected shall have extensive experience in Baseline surveys, data collection and cleaning under very tight timelines and must have their own group of members of staff to undertake all the activity of collecting and cleaning of data. The consultant shall cover all the expenses for its member of staff during the exercise i.e. stipends, transport, accommodation and meals.
Scope of Work
The scope of work is offering survey, study, assessment, and evaluation services to CRS on a needs basis from time to time, depending on Project needs. The specific scope of work shall include:
• Proposal and financial break down depending on the assignment.
• Conduct Desk reviews /Literature reviews
• Produce an Inception report to the MEAL coordinator.
• Designing the study/Assessments tools
• Scripting the tools on online platforms such as CommCare
• Training/Orienting his/her Enumerators or study participants
• Participating in field related activities depending on assignments
• Cleaning of data.
• Producing of a draft report for review and final Report for submission
• Present assignment findings to the Project team members/CRS leadership/Donors when need be.
• Offer recommendations to the project designs/Objectives /Indicators /Log frameworks /results frame works /strategic object /detailed implementation plans (DIP) etc.
• Participate in project team members meetings and Donor meetings when need be.
• Provide his/her own Enumerators to undertake all the activity of collecting and cleaning of data
Reporting Obligations
The selected Consultant company will report to the MEAL Coordinator. Further, detailed reports shall be presented after the assignment, including a detailed evaluation report for the activity.
TIME FRAME
It is expected that the lead time for the survey, study, assessment, and evaluation services are strictly followed.
Mandatory Requirements
The recruitment company is required to provide the following mandatory documentation:
• PACRA Certificate of Registration
• ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
• Minimum a master’s degree any of the following discipline:(development studies, Economics Public Health social work, Psychology, Demography, Monitoring and Evaluation, agriculture, food and Nutrition, Project management, Climate change or any other related.
• Curriculum Vitae of Lead staff
Note: Non-provision of any mandatory document above will result in a bidder being disqualified.
PRICE OF CONTRACT AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
The fee is anticipated to be a firm fixed price. CRS Payment will be processed based on acceptable deliveries and outcomes as stipulated in the running contract.
