Job description:
Overall, Job Purpose
The purpose of the Condition Monitoring Coordinator is to ensure condition monitoring work is planned and executed to ensure the earliest detection of potential failure component failures, thereby reducing equipment cost and downtime.
Specific Job Responsibility
The specific tasks to be performed by the position holder will include.
Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment
• Contribute to reviews of Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures relevant to process maintenance objectives and aims and where appropriate, FQML operations.
• Promote awareness of the FQML health and safety programs targeting zero-harm work-related injuries and illnesses within the team.
• Maintain a culture of safety awareness underpinned by an understanding of the principles of duty of care.
Work Management
• Ensure all condition monitoring generated defects are effectively scheduled.
• Drive effective planning condition monitoring work being ensuring they are adequately resourced and set up correctly in the weekly plan.
• Ensure condition monitoring data in the ERP system is up to date and of acceptable quality.
• Ensure that there is consistent and open communication between condition monitoring and the entire maintenance team.
• Provide weekly condition monitoring status summary which includes but is not limited to oil analysis, vibration analysis, crack detection, and thermograph for all mobile equipment.
• Ensure 100% reporting of all planned condition monitoring work.
Optimizing Asset Tactics
• Carry out root cause analysis of equipment failure with high cost and production impact.
• Create and maintain standard work procedures for all condition-monitoring tasks to include specifications/standards for precision maintenance such as alignment, torquing, lubrication, balancing, etc.
• Create and maintain condition monitoring routes for all condition monitoring which includes but is not limited to oil analysis, vibration analysis, crack detection, and thermograph for all mobile equipment.
• Work with the reliability engineers to develop the condition monitoring strategy and selection of CM techniques to detect potential problems earlier on the P-F curve.
• Carry out condition monitoring tools/equipment audits to ensure tools provide accurate measurements and plan for tool calibration.
• Develop scopes of work and justification for contractors to carry out condition-monitoring work.
Business Improvement
• Analyse condition monitoring data to identify opportunities to improve cost, reliability, and availability of equipment.
• Identify and execute improvements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of condition-monitoring tasks.

Experience required to perform in this job.
• At least 3 years of experience in the condition monitoring of mining/processing equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
Qualifications
• A Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• ISO standard Certification in Vibration Analysis 1 and NDT level 1
• Valid driver’s license
