JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To design and manage a strong credit Department for Panda Africa.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Build a strong credit system for Panda Africa
• Daily departmental workflow
• Ensure standard or work meets client expectations with minimum turnaround and in compliance with set credit policies and regulations
• Assess and approve credit lending procedures
• Reviewing, renewing and updating credit documents for Panda Africa
• Manage the credit team to ensure smooth execution of duties
• Ensure daily activities of the portfolio are accomplished effectively
• Predict risks by creating credit scoring models.
• Monitor all payments to ensure transparency and accountability are upheld
• Hold meetings with stakeholders
• Assess the creditworthiness of potential clients and conduct periodic reviews of existing clients

Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 certificate
• BSc Degree in Banking, finance, Business Administration
• 5 to 10 years proven work experience preferably in a financial institution.
• Knowledge in any loan system will be an added an advantage
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office packages.
• Excellent knowledge in lending principles
• Basic knowledge in legal lending Acts
• Good credit management skills
• Sober minded
• Attention to detail
• Great sense of urgency
• Ability to work under pressure and ability to embrace change.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
