JOB DETAILS:
CREDIT OFFICER
The position of Credit officer reports directly to the Branch Manager. The officer needs to have an Effective administrative management of the credit facilities in compliance with the Financial Institution credit policy and procedures and containment of credit risk .

RESPONSIBILIES
1. SALES FOCUS
Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer such opportunities and leads to the correct person or department involved
2. CUSTOMER FOCUS
Evaluation of credit applications, with reference to risk factors:
• Financial analysis
• Problem solving and Analytic
• Interpersonal sensitivity

COMPETENCIES

• Assertive

EXPERIENCE
• At least 2 years general banking experience
• Knowledge of Products and Services
• Knowledge of Business & Administration Procedures
• Knowledge of Credit and Security principles
• Completed Credit and Security internal training courses
• Computer literate
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• Skill in analyzing and evaluating financial information.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Full Grade 12 Certificate with Credit or better in English and Mathematics
• A Diploma or Degree in a related field
