JOB DETAILS:
A team of professionals that seeks to help revamp the hospitality industry in Zambia With Lodges offering Conferencing facilities, Wedding, Kitchen party venues, accommodation (rooms), and bar services. Lodges/Resort also have restaurants where meals are served to walk-in or booked-in clients is currently looking for a passionate a creative, highly organized décor/event personnel to help in executing unforgettable events that generate brand awareness, build business relationships, and boost employee morale. This individual will be responsible for conceptualizing ideas for the events, communicating with clients, and ultimately ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed.
QUALIFICATION :
– Grade 12 School Certificate
– Certificate in décor designing and planning (Creative Designs in Fashion, Interior Decoration)
– Excellent Customer Service and selling skills
– Good client references and testimonials are a plus.
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
– Creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
– Ability to lead a large team and delegate tasks effectively and be a team player.
– Thorough attention to detail.
– Excellent time management skills.
RESPONSIBILITY :
– Coordinate with caterers, florists, musicians, and other vendors to ensure that they are aware of the event’s timeline and details.
– Conducting research, which may include sending text messages to clients, searching online, and making phone calls to ensure professional service delivery and a memorable event.
– Ensuring all food, drinks, chairs, tables, and decorations are delivered and set up on time.
– Notifying clients of any changes or problems as soon as possible.
– Staying current on all the latest design and party trends.
– Creating a portfolio of all events planned and collecting testimonials from satisfied clients.
– Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.
– Anticipating attendee needs and preparing against potential risks.
– Any other tasks as may be assigned by the manager.
