JOB DETAILS:
Database Administrator and Applications Developer .

Responsibilities:
Application Development
• Developing software solutions to meet customer needs; both web and mobile apps
• Creating and implementing the source code of new applications
• Testing source code and debugging code
• Evaluating existing applications and performing updates and modifications
• Developing documentation to represent the design and code of new applications
• Implementing application User Interface enhancements
Database Administration.
• Refining the physical and logical design of the database to meet user and system requirements
• Install and test new versions of the database management system (DBMS)
• Control access permissions and privileges
• Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans
• Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database
• Develop and implement queries to extract data from the database as requested by users
• Monitoring database efficiency
• Sustaining the security and integrity of data

Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Computer science or any IT related field
• Experience with database software/web applications development with PHP, Java, HTML, C++, Python
• Working knowledge of structured query language (SQL) such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Understanding of Microsoft windows and Linux/Unix operating Systems
