Job Profile

Master’s Degree in Development studies, Management, Economics, Project Management, or Business Administration with 1 year of relevant working experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Management, Economics, Project Management or Business Administration with 3 years of relevant working experience

Key technical skills and knowledge required:

• Strong command of written and spoken English
  
• Knowledge of results based management, logical framework approach, strategic planning processes and tools
  
• Knowledge of Rwanda’s industrial research development policies and strategies
  
• Knowledge of drafting action plans and operations plans
  
• Knowledge to conduct policy and analysis and draft proposals
  
• Knowledge of monitoring and valuation concepts, systems and tools
  
• Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team building, problem solving, conflict resolution, consensus building
  
• Organization skills
  
• High analytical and complex problem solving skills
  
• Judgement and decision making skills
  
• Team working skills
  
• Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  
• Knowledge of French is an added advantage
