About Us;
Jalyn Investments Limited is a company based in Solwezi North Western Province of Zambia. This is Sister Company to Synite Quarries Zambia Limited with the same Shareholders.
The company’s main business activities include, quarry production and sale of aggregates, Cement and also Haulage services.
The company is urgently looking for a suitably qualified Dispatch Clerk.

Position Overview
The Dispatch Clerk is responsible for ensuring that sales are delivered and transport is readily available on site.
Essential Job Functions
• Assesses and organizes logistics in terms of transport requirements,
• In cooperation with Main Office, prepare for receipt of dispatches and customer orders.
• Liaises and keeps close contacts with Main Office implementing partners
• involved in programme implementation and assists them in all matters
• pertaining to logistics and dispatches.
• Carries out days work check to ensure that deliveries to
• Customers has been received and properly accounted for at their destinations, and in case of loss or damage follow up are done.
• Keep daily updates in relation to fuel management and sales management
• Record and verify information.
• Arrange and prepare data for processing.
• Maintain files and office records and assist the general public.
• Undertakes other duties as required.
• Write monthly reports to main office and supervisors
Relationships
The job reports to the immediate Supervisor and has regular communication with the Directors, Sales team and any other superior officer.

Skills/Abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels including customers
• Have a strong level of technical understanding of quarrying environments and dispatch systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety issues and how they relate to practical working environments.

Qualifications
• Grade 12/GCE certificate – 3 credits English inclusive.
• Qualifications in any business-related courses.
• Certificate in computers will be mostly preferable
• Computer literate
• Any other related qualifications deemed relevant.
