JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Role:
This role exists to ensure that the final stage in the sale process of a customer collecting or receiving their goods is executed smoothly, and in a timely manner. Implementing a process that creates an efficient, customer centric dispatch department.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Ensure that goods are received from auction according to the sold lots report, in the condition stated.
• Problem solving ability
• Coordinate closely with the auction team to ensure the smoothly processing of
• Train and refresh team members on processes and customer
• Ensure that the goods are placed in the correct areas. (i.e. large goods in the floor space, smalls on the correct shelves, valuables in the lock up cage.)
• Ensure the floor space is utilized correctly and that goods are packed in a way that damages/breakages are limited. Investigate, report and problem solve all discrepancies (i.e. missing lots, breakages, damages.)
• Motivate and support team members.
• Coordinate with the Out of Hand (OOH) Sales Team for movement of goods into dispatch from OOH sales
• Spot check and audit the goods in dispatch.
• Manage the space within dispatch.
• Ensure re-allocations of goods are processed accurately on a daily basis.
• Handle customer queries and complaints and solve the issues where possible with the assistance of the dispatch admin supervisor.
• Ensuring that goods are packed correctly to limit damages and breakages.
• Carry out inventory counts (monthly) and spot checks of all items in dispatch Maintain tidiness and order in all dispatch locations.
• Identifying any staff development/recruitment and training needs and ensuring that training is obtained.
Minimum Hiring Standards:
Education:
• Advanced Level Certificate Or, similar level diploma
• Or, Qualification by experience - minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Experience:
• Leading teams
• Dealing with clients
• Handling and resolving complaints/issues
• Computer literacy - proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: Associate Degree
