JOB DETAILS:

• We are looking to recruit a Driver to be responsible for and to drive Actros, Power liner and Mercedes Benz trucks or someone who can drive a LHD vehicle. If this is you, we would love to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive and operate vehicle.
• Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
• Pre-inspect vehicle.
• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Load and unload goods.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes always.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
• Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
• Clean driving record
• Valid G and DG license.
• Valid Passport
• Valid Belsam will be an added advantage
• Valid Police clearance of less than 6 months old.
• Listening and verbal communication skills
• Dependability
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class CE PSV G
• 5 years of driving experience.

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
