Key Accountabilities
• Ensure safe transit of people or materials as directed.
• Follow all traffic rules.
• Ensure cleanliness of vehicles at all times (both inside and outside).
• Carry out routine checks on vehicles and ensure they are safe and in perfect condition.
• Recognize electrical and mechanical faults and report to his supervisor.
• Perform or coordinate periodic maintenance on vehicles, such as changing batteries and motor oil at appropriate time, as well as refueling the car(s).
• Report any case of accident, injury or damage of vehicles to his supervisor.
• Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance, fuel bills etc.
• Keep up a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours.
• Dress in accordance with the organization’s dress code.
• Comply with and ensure adherence to the agency’s policies, safety and security protocols and child safeguarding norms and guidelines by self as well all stakeholders both internal and external.
• Promote diversity and inclusion, value other cultures, and demonstrate respect while relating with all organizational constituents irrespective of their race, color, faiths, gender, sexual orientation, age, caste, disabilities, experiences, beliefs and ethnicity.
Education, Experience And Key Skills
• Valid driving license, with 2-3 year of similar work experience.
• Understanding, knowledge of and ensuring adherence to all traffic rules.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Being patient, non-judgmental, non- argumentative and polite with all members/visitors/ sponsors/staff of the agency.
• Ability to follow instructions.
