JOB DETAILS:
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), on behalf of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Zambia invites applications from suitable dynamic and self-motivated Zambian nationals to fill up the above position in the EU- SIFAZ project:

Responsibilities
• Provide transportation services assigned by the immediate supervisor, based on the requests by different areas of the institution, always taking care to do so safely and carefully to provide the best possible service to the user.
• Transport people and materials according to the instructions of the supervisor, which indicate the place and time for providing safe and effective service. - Provide shuttle services for staff and visitors from the airport to CIMMYT office and any other places assigned by supervisor.
• Provide delivery services for mail, messages and banking transaction documents of different departments and branches of the institution according to their needs.
• Facilitate clearance of goods and vehicles for export and for travel to countries in the region.
• Ensure assigned vehicles are serviced on time and vehicles are in a clean state. Support and implement all security protocols.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications
• Technical degree, preferably in mechanization.
• Valid Driver's license
• Training in defensive driving and other driving and security training Intermediate English proficiency
• Customer orientation

General information: The contracts will be for an initial period of three years. Renewal is dependent on performance and availability of funds.
