JOB DETAILS:
Experienced driver is required for a busy hospital to provide secure and timely driving services. A successful candidate is expected to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality and maturity in the execution of duties.

Qualifications
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Crafts Certificate in Automotive Mechanics from a recognized Trade Institution an added advantage.
• Class C Drivers’ License a must.
• St Johns Certificate in Ambulance Driving and First Aid.

Experience
• At least five (5) years post qualification experience with traceable record.
Attributes
• Must be hard working and loyal
• Sober Minded
• Good route planner
• Works with minimal supervision

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate assigned vehicles safely and with caution and ensure that defensive driving is practiced always
• Carry out daily inspections of company vehicles to identify hazards
• Manage requests and instructions through planned efficient driving schedules with the Supervisor
• Manage multiple and frequently changing tasks in communication with the office
• Maintain logs and records accurately and correctly according to established company procedures, including: fueling, trip sheets, log books, maintenance records, incident reports, accident reports and others as requested
• Keep the vehicle clean and road worthy
