JOB DETAILS:
Our Company is seeking a highly meticulous and hands on Electrician with extensive experience in Electrical. Will be responsible for completion of electrical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximise equipment availability and embracing preventive, predictive maintenance practices and contributes to their improvement. The goal is to provide specialised electrical artisan skill and knowledge to the team, to support the operations, maintain the electrical equipment and to perform and assist in problem solving. .

Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, diagnose faults and repair electrical wiring
• Be able to read and understand wiring diagrams produced by various OEM`s
• Be able to read and understand workshop manuals and be able to follow the diagnostic procedures required for specific faults
• Be able to use diagnostic tools including the use of a multi meter, a laptop computer and any other necessary tools
• Repair systems to OEM`s specifications
• Must have the ability to understand technical instructions
• Test, replace, and install equipment such as electric fencing
• Clean and test components
• Ensure hazardous substances are disposed of appropriately and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements are met.
• Maintain a professional work ethic through effective, honest communication with supervisors, peers, and operations personnel at all times.
• The position will be expected to positively impact and contribute to the performance of the company through leadership and individual activity.
• Plan, schedule and monitor work of support personnel.

Experience & Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Electrical.
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia
• At least 2 years’ work experience.
• Must have experience in electrical fencing and wiring
• Must have experience of working on large plant and machinery
• Able to pass pre-employment medical.
• Ability to communicate effectively
