JOB DETAILS:
Razel-Bec Limited, a construction and civil engineering company which is currently undertaking a project of rehabilitating the plunge pool of the Kariba dam in Siavonga Zambia. The purpose of the contract is to perform, on behalf of the Zambezi River Authority (ZRA), works to reshape the plunge pool of the Kariba dam on the Zambezi River, which is a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe:

ELECTRO MECHANIC TECHNICIAN X 01 (RE-ADVERTISED)
We are looking for an experienced auto electrician extensive knowledge of modern machinery electrical systems, have a good eye for detail, and be able to solve complex electrical problems. Ultimately, a top-notch auto electrician that can install, troubleshoot, and repair any electrical system in a machine and vehicles. You should be able to work with diagnostic tools and soft wares such as S|S and ET and be able MaxiDas, DS808.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:
• Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
• Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
• Gathering information from operators about issues with the electrical system.
• Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
• Providing customers with an estimated time and cost for repairs.
• Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems and components.
• Servicing of automotive electrical parts.
• Servicing and repairing electrical systems on the machines.
• Maintaining a clean working environment.
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork.

Minimum specifications / requirements areas
• Diploma / Degree in Auto electrical Technician.
• Proven work experience as an auto electrician.
• Advanced knowledge of modern soft wares and gadgets for electrical systems and repairs
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work standing or in a crouched position for long periods.
• Ability to distinguish subtle color variations.
• Caterpillar and bell machines experience is the added advantage.
