JOB DETAILS:
The Eastern Provincial Health Office with support from the US Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), is seeking for eligible and qualified applicants for the listed position to be employed on contract basis.
STATION: Eastern Province Health Office

JOB PURPOSE:
To strengthen the implementation and utilization of Electronic Health Records in order to contribute to improved patient care, data management and reporting.
• Supervises the utilization of SmartCare in all supported health facilities in order to enhance and improve HIV data management and reporting.
• Supervises and undertakes the deployment and rollout of SmartCare to all supported health facilities in order to enhance effective and efficient service delivery
• Undertakes timely electronic Health Records back-end analysis in order to facilitate utilization of data
• Undertakes and supervises trainings, mentorships, and Technical Assistance programs in
Electronic Health Records data management and use in order to mitigate skills and knowledge gaps.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Full Form 5/ Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent
• Degree in Library and Information Studies, Demography, Computer Sciences
• Three (3) years minimum experience
• Ability to write technical papers and analytical reports
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Numerical skills, computer literate and facilitation skills
