Duties & Responsibilities
• Developing Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines for Department Operations including Data Management and Safety Procedures
• Inspecting High-Risk Facilities for Public Health and Environmental Safety. including Chemical Plants, Power Plants, Oil Refineries, Landfills, Sewage Treatment Plants, and Industrial Waste Sites
• Conducting Research and Analysis Related to Environmental Issues such as Impact Assessment, Pollution Prevention Techniques, and Government Regulations
• Preparing Documentation, Including Reports, Maps, and Charts, to Detail Inspection and Research Project Findings
• Maintaining Records of Environmental Data and Samples Collected During Investigations
• Recommend Changes in Laws or Regulations Based on Findings from Research Projects or Investigations
• Conduct Site Inspections to Identify Environmental Hazards and Make Recommendations for Corrective Action

Requirements
• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Biology. Chemistry, or Related Field
• 2 Yrs. Exp. in Environmental Compliance/Management
• Working knowledge of local Environmental Regulations
• Ability to develop and implement Environmental Policies and Procedures
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
