Sinohydro Zambia Limited is looking for qualified individuals to fill up the vacant positions to be based in Southern , Central and Eastern Province.
Job Description
Environmental Health and Safety Manager -Positions- (1)
Creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs for employees that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace. Training employees on the importance of health and safety on the job.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Finding the best way to prevent future accidents inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
• Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
• Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
• Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
• Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
• Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience required/ skills:
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required.
• Environmental Health Practicing certificate.
• Ten years of related experience preferred.
