JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities.
Supervisor all kitchen staff.
• Proven ability to control and direct food preparation.
• Ensure strict stock and cost controls.
• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring variety, quality and outstanding presentation.Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and safety standards.Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as head chef of a recognized or established at a Hotel or Lodge.
• Culinary School documents eg Degree..
