JOB DETAILS:
Position: Expeditor
Supervisor: Service Manager
Job Summary: Ensure promised delivery dates to internal and external customers are met or exceeded by taking action to mitigate delivery delays and any potential delays are communicated proactively.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Expediting of open customer orders and provision of ETA information to relevant stakeholders.
• Send out daily updates on critical orders which have been placed for a specific requirements.
• Liaison with the Import and Export team to establishment in-bound shipments’ status.
• Placing of ACIGN for parts which have exceeded delivery promises to improve delivery date.
• Sending of notifications to stakeholders on any factors in the supply chain which are anticipated to affect promised delivery dates and to provide new ETA.
Safety, Health, Environmental And Quality Requirements
• Ensures you attend monthly SHEQ meetings.
• Ensures you attend daily SHEQ talks including HIV/AIDS.
• Ensures own safety and that of others.
• Ensures compliance to legal requirements.
• Ensures customer requirements are satisfied or met.
• Ensures that environment issues are adhered to by avoiding pollution of air and water, and oil spillages / leakages.
• Ensures good housekeeping and safe working and standard operating procedures.

Requirements (Education And Experience)
• Degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• At least 1 year experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain IT Applications.
Key Knowledge, Attributes, Skills And Abilities
• Ability to understand and interpret Epiroc Zambia procurement and supply policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of shipment tracing and tracking.
• Sober minded.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good Report Writing
• Able to work with Cisco Jabber, Outlook, BPCS, GIM or GPS, M3, ACIGN.
• Good at providing feedback to supply chain stakeholders.
