Project Background
With PEPFAR funds received through the United States Agency for International Development, Pact is implementing the Zambia Community HIV Prevention Project (USAID Z-CHPP) in 11 high-HIV burdened districts in six provinces of Zambia. Project implementation began on 23 November 2015 and ends on 22 November 2021. Pact implements the project with Plan International and 6 Sub-Partners. The goal is to reduce new HIV infections in Zambia. It targets priority populations comprising
Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW); People Living with HIV; Mobile Populations; Discordant Couples and Non-Injecting Drug Users.
Consultancy: Development of a Compendium of USAID Z-CHPP Program Interventions
The consultancy will describe the key interventions of the project under its two components of DREAMS and Community HIV Prevention. Under DREAMS, the consultant will describe Biomedical Services; School-Based Prevention; Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Prevention; Economical Strengthening; Mental Health; Digital Literacy and DREAMS Data Management including use of the DREAMS database. Under the Community HIV component, the consultant will describe Social and Behavior Change Communication, Biomedical Services and Data Management. The consultant will write program interventions descriptions that will focus on and highlight key results; successes; best practices and recommendations. The primary audience for the compendium will include the Government of the Republic of Zambia; PEPFAR/USAID and local implementing partners.
The objectives of the consultancy are to:
Develop a compendium of USAID Z-CHPP program interventions. For each intervention area
Generate success stories, one story under the interventions of Biomedical services provision; School-Based Prevention Intervention; Economic Strengthening; Index Testing; Data Management/Outcomes Assessments.
Pact Zambia now calls on firms or individuals with a verifiable track record of developing compendiums of program interventions for donor funded programs to express interest in this consultancy.
