The Fellowship Program Associate will play an important role in supporting the successful implementation and iteration of this program. Reporting to the Director of Fellowships, the Fellowship Program Associate will help ensure fellows have an impactful learning experience from the moment they are accepted as GHC fellows to the day they complete the fellowship and transition into our alumni community. The Fellowship Program associate enjoys collaborating on project plans and facilitating administrative processes as much as they love reading, writing, and content creation.Specifically, the Fellowship Program Associate will.
• Coordinate administrative processes to ensure fellows are well-informed and supported throughout the fellowship (e.g. updating the Community Portal, GHC’s online platform, and managing fellow email listservs)
• Support the Director of Fellowships to coordinate, develop and facilitate in-person and virtual events to foster community building and leadership development for the fellows
• Own administrative tasks related to fellow, partner, and country team communications and programming
• Serve as the first point of contact for Fellowship Team administrative services and support
• Manage report formatting, document tracking, and knowledge management for the fellowship team
• Curate and develop tools and resources for fellows and partners
• Support the relationship management of GHC training partners and vendors
• Assist in the development, implementation, and internal communication of project plans including, but not limited to: fellow recruitment, fellow onboarding, partner recruitment, and selection, training logistics, and materials acquisition
• Coordinate facilitator preparation (organize preparatory meetings and create and share facilitator resources, as needed)
• Work with the Finance team to support Fellowship team invoicing and the monitoring of the Fellowship team budget.
• Assist in coordinating with GHC’s Community Impact team to ensure the fellowship program aligns with our theory of impact and alumni strategy

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND BENEFITS
This role can be based in Lilongwe, Malawi; Kigali, Rwanda; Kampala, Uganda; or Lusaka, Zambia. You will have the opportunity to work from the office or at home.
