JOB DETAILS:
Description
1. Overall responsibilities include:
• Support the District Data Associate with data entry at District level
• Work closely with the Camp Extension Officers (CEOs), lead farmers, village chicken value chain (VCVC) demonstration farmers, community based volunteers (CBVs), Community Facilitators (CFs) and District Technical Officers (DTO) agriculture and livelihood in data management
• Lead field data collection from SUN TA Follower Farmers who are members of SUN TA Mother Support Groups (SMSGs) and Savings and Loans Groups (SLGs)
• Participate in program data review meetings

Monitoring and Evaluation
The entry of raw data onto the Primary Data Sheet to track the number of:
1. Lead Farmers (female/male) and SMSGs and their members (female/male – Follower Farmers) who are managing household gardens; including the number of technologies they are applying, and the amount of raised through vegetable sells.
2. Health Facilities Gardens; including income raised from the sale of vegetables
3. Private Extension Agents (female/male) and their Follower Farmers (female/male) growing legumes; including hectares planted to soybeans, groundnuts and beans, technologies applied, quantity of seed planted, and quantity harvested.
4. SMSGs and SLGs members (female/male) growing:
1. orange Fleshed Sweet Potatoes
2. nutrient fortified Mbereshi beans
3. vitamin A maize (orange maize)
5. Village Chicken Demonstration Farmers (female/male) and SMSGs and SLGs members – Follower Farmers (female/male) who are raising village chickens; including sales volumes.

Farmer linkage and aggregation
• Assist Program Officer – Value Chains and the Snr Agriculture Marketing Development Specialist with managing relationships between aggregators and SMSGs and SLGs members
1. Required Skills & Experience:

Candidates applying should possess the following requirements:
• Diploma in agri-business, agriculture, or related discipline.
• 1-year relevant working experience preferably working directly with farmers and farmer groups
• Ability to ride a bicycle or motor cycle
• Familiarity with rural settings
• Ability to design and carry out task under minimal physical supervision;
• Willingness and ability to travel often to the field;
• Good computer skills in Office software (Excel., Word, PowerPoint) with ability to use of mobile digital applications
• Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
