JOB DETAILS:
We are a Zambian Local organisation whose vision is, to be recognized as Zambia’s leading health experts in behaviour change, community empowerment and knowledge management. We work with diverse communities, partners and stakeholders to deliver healthy behavioral change among the target beneficiaries. Afya Mzuri, has presence in 6 Provinces namely; Central, Copperbelt, Luapula, Lusaka, Northern and Southern. Our head office is domiciled in Lusaka, Roma, along Kasangula Road.

(01) Lusaka – 1 year 6 Months Contract
We are looking to recruit a professional Finance Officer to be in charge of keeping track of project’s finances. The Finance Officer will be required to enter data into financial database, prepare financial statements, process invoices, and support project staff members throughout any accounting processes. The other tasks to include keeping appropriate documentation on payroll, bank transfers, Insurance contributions and payments, statutory obligations and invoices.
Reports to Finance and Administration Manager:

Qualifications, Minimum Skills and Experience required:
• Diploma in accountancy or related equivalent from a reputable institution.
• At least 1 – 2 years’ professional experience in finance.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software – QuickBooks, Pastel, Dove payroll.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
• Good organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good bank reconciliation skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Previous experience working in a non-governmental organisation and working with USAID funding a must or other donors will be an advantage.

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
