JOB DETAILS:
The Civic Forum on Housing and Habitat Zambia (CFHHZ) is a national platform of Civil Society Organisations (CSO's) and community-based organizations (CBO's) dealing in housing and human settlements in Zambia. The platform offers members an opportunity for dialogue and identification of practical solutions in responding to an array of housing challenges that communities and marginalized communities encounter ranging from policy, housing infrastructure and access support services.
CFHHZ in collaboration is looking for competent individuals to fill the position of Finance and Administration Officer the Right to Adequate Housing Programme. The roles and responsibilities for the advertised positions are as detailed below:
Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) - Right to Adequate Housing Programme
The Finance and Administration Manager will report to the Executive Director. S/he will provide management support and oversight to the financial and administrative functions for CFHHZ programmes, in line with the Donor expectations and generally accepted accounting standards. This will include providing supervision to the finance Officer and other administration team members, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating financial policies and strategies to support the overall objectives of CFHHZ. S/he will oversee cash flow, internal controls and ensure that financial reporting deadlines are met. .

Key Attributes & Skills
• Must be conversant with local and international financial reporting standards
• Must demonstrate a high level of drive and be able to coach and motivate a team.
• Must have a traceable/proven record of excellent workmanship with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of online Banking & Payment will be an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good written and oral communication skills


Major responsibilities will include:
• Ensure conducive and habitable working environment.
• Custodian of all CFHHZ Assets.
• Ensure CFHHZ Assets are comprehensively insured.
• Ensure regular backup of all organisational IT information and stored in third generation and keep updated register for the backup.
• Ensure coordination of transport facilitation for both local and international travel for CFHHZ and international staff
• Ensure funds disbursed comply with Donor Regulations and in line with CFHHZ Policies.
• Prepare payroll and ensure statutory obligations for the organisation are paid on time.
• Coordinate Donor and Statutory Audits.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports for presentation to the board and network members.
• Contribute towards Strategic and Annual plan preparations.
• Ensure CFHHZ staff is regularly educated on procurement procedures and adherence observed.
• Contribute towards resource mobilization for CFHHZ and development of budgets


Qualification and Experience
• Must be a member of ZICA
• Full ZICA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Seven (7) years working experience with traceable references,
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
• A team player, innovative and able to adapt working under pressure with minimum supervision
