JOB DETAILS:
Our client, an exclusive Restaurant Group in Lusaka, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not subject to:
The appointed Financial Manager will be responsible for enabling the management team to drive revenue, achieve budget and reach monthly targets, by providing accurate and insightful reporting on financial information.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting at the business and group level
• Support the GM in Analyzing management reports and financial performance of the business against its specific targets and providing financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organisation
• Manage the finance team members and provide guidance and training
• Responsible for automations and efficiency improvements
• Plan, organise and execute financial tasks and projects to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Review all manual journals and ensure the accurateness of information and treatment in terms of SARS requirements
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Releasing of Xero documentation (orders, invoices for payment) and processes
• Preparation of interim and year-end audit information and liaison with internal audit
• Preparation of other statutory & legal reporting requirements
• Set up systems for changing environment or to align systems with best practice
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Investigation of and resolving ad-hoc queries
• Procurement and stock management

Qualifications
• Financial Management degree (Bcom) CA- not essential but preferred
• Hospitality experience - essential
• Pastel, Xero or equivalent financial systems
• 4 – 6 years’ experience
