FINANCE & REGULATORY REPORTING OFFICER
Job Title: Finance & Regulatory Reporting Officer
Reports to: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
JOB PURPOSE
• To ensure prompt and proper preparation and reconciliation of group reports with management and other local financial reports. .

Specific Roles and Responsibilities
FINANCIAL
• Prepare and render all Bank’s & Group’s Financial Reports including providing timely information support to group office.
PROCESS
• To provide support to Management in meeting group & regulatory obligations
• To assist in the delivery of Business Intelligence Systems for Management decision-making
• To prepare financial information for Executive Management
• To ensure compliance with Regulatory and Statutory Requirements and no financial loss from late or improper reporting i.e. nil sanction from the regulators
• To coordinate in the conduct of the year end / statutory audit exercise of the bank
CUSTOMER
• External Auditors
• Executive Management & Group Office
• Credit Risk Management Department
• Treasury Department
TEAM
• Motivate, share ideas and provide on-the-job training for group & financial reporting unit.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Perspective Objective Measure
• Financial Improve performance reporting To ensure timely rendition of group and financial reports and reconciliation of inter-affiliate accounts as well as timely remittance
• Financial Improve on performance information integrity Ensure proper reconciliation of group reports with management and other local performance reports
• Financial Improve on performance information integrity Provide adequate commentaries on the Bank’s monthly financial performance • Customer Franchise Exceed Customer Expectation Driving budget achievement of risk assets creation, deposit liabilities generation, income tracking.
• Customer Franchise Exceed Customer Expectation Assist Business and support functions in the budgetary and forecasting process
• Customer Franchise Exceed Customer Expectation Providing update on the industry/market and competition analysis which will help the Bank for better positioning
• Process Cost reduction and value for money Timely Review of OPEX requests and approval processing.
• Process Process and Operational Improvement Correction & reclassification of entries
• Process Process and Operational Improvement Accuracy and timeliness of completing report
• Process Provide value added report and strategic information to support business Timely and efficient preparation of all report types
• People Training and Development Attend 3 Internal/External training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of a degree or a Professional Course
• Chartered Membership of ACCA, ZICA & CIMA will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 Years relevant Banking Experience
