JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
• Requirement’s elicitation, analysis and preparation of functional specifications for all projects;
• Inputs into identifying ways to fine tune systems in line with changing work, market and industry best practices;
• Guides Product teams on development of solutions to ensure the full and optimal utilization of platform features;
• Aids construction of business cases for initiations proposed by the business;
• Researches and considers best practice, local conditions, trends, as well as competitor activity;
• Assists in identifying innovative ways to use minimum resources to achieve maximum outputs;
• Designs and documents business solutions (process, system and measurements) that meet current and future user requirements;
• Reviews and re-engineers processes in order to meet the required service levels;
• Facilitates JAD (Joint Application Design) with relevant stakeholders;
• Defines and constructs context diagrams which form part of the basis of process mapping;
• Assists in drafting policies, processes and procedures;
• Addresses problems on a case by case basis, ensuring an optimal balance between the response to the situation, the cost of that response, and the core purpose of the organization;
• Generates different options for the known problem, evaluates possible methods to resolve the problem, and select the most appropriate solution in terms of enhanced effectiveness and efficiency, and reduced cost.

Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
• BSc Degree in IT/Software Engineering or related discipline;
• ITIL certification an advantage;
• SCRUM, DevOp’s or any other recognized Agile Framework;
• At least 2 years’ application development with agile methodologies and at least 1 year in a commercial-technology interfacing role;
• Developer or application support role with Fintech or large mass consumer platforms like e-commerce;
• Understanding and focus on business outcomes – Customer Activity Growth, Revenue, User Experience
• Have a client-focused mentality and be culturally and geographically sensitive.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, always keeping the highest-impact items as top priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (particularly Project, Visio, Word and Excel).
