JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Ensure offices, verandahs and the gardens are properly cleaned and well maintained. The ideal candidate must have had previous gardening and cleaning experience and outstanding customer service skills. They should be able to communicate effectively, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively individually and with a team and follow oral and written instructions. This person will also be responsible for running errands and assisting wherever necessary. A Grade 12 Certificate and minimum three years relevant experience in a similar position is required.

Responsibilities
• Maintain gardens, watering plants, cutting the lawn and spraying herbicides when required
• Clean verandas, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters and other grounds features
• Daily cleaning of offices, including outside rooms and storerooms
• Ensure that the kitchen and kitchen equipment/utensils are properly cleaned and maintained
• Replenish towels, soap and toilet paper in bathrooms on a regular basis
• Replace light bulbs and identify maintenance issues
• Daily cleaning of toilets
• Cleaning of windows and walls
• Conduct messenger duties as required
• Check and close all windows at the end of day
• Ensure groceries are adequate and organize teas/refreshments for visitors
• Clean vehicles and other equipment
• Any other duties given by Supervisor
