JOB DETAILS:

GENERAL ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Electrical and mechanical maintenance supervisors are professionals with a high degree of electrical and mechanical skills who perform maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems. Such Supervisors also have the ability to do fault finding and resolving faults and breakdowns in the system

• Perform Scheduled Maintenance and preventative repairs on all Electrical and Mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Review maintenance schedules and adjust them as necessary to keep systems functioning at peak levels.
• Repair Electrical Systems by responding quickly to do on-the-spot repairs when Electrical or Mechanical systems and machinery malfunction.
• Troubleshoot Malfunction – Carry out inspections on all Electrical and Mechanical systems to prevent potential problems.
• Recommend changes or upgrades to Electrical and Mechanical systems to increase productivity and functionality.

EDUCATION SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma and/or Suitable Certificate in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering preferably graduates from a recognized institution.
• Previous work experience in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or related position in the mines.
