The Goat manager is required to work as part of the team to implement the agreed farm management plan, completing all tasks for goat management. It is expected that the goat manager will understand the farms targets and help to implement the activities that will mean the business can meet those targets. .

•Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day Goat health needs and Goat-related operations including parasite management, routine body condition evaluation, vaccinations, etc.
• Work with Farm Manager to develop and implement breeding plan.
• Providing weekly reports on Goat Data analysis.
• Develop protocols to follow.
• Keep facilities and equipment clean.
• Comply with all health and safety requirements as directed by farm manager.
• Look after the farm equipment and environment as directed by the farm manager.
• Understand the requirements of managing the different classes of stock and assist with all stock management.
• All other instructionsas directed by the farm manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Knowledge of goats and experience working with dairy animals is a must.
• Must have experience working on a farm
• Grade 12 and above.
• Diploma in related area is favorable.
• Must be highly organized and motivated
• Ability to work independently and co-workers.
