Job Description
The Grants and Donor Compliance coordinator will be responsible for providing partner grants and contract management support and ensure compliance with Oxfam and donor policies and guidelines.
They will be responsible for:
1. Grants and contract management (50%).
1. Working with finance, support the review of donor budgets ensuring high quality standards and compliance with optimum cost recovery in alignment with organizational and donor requirements
2. Support business development manager & funding manager to ensure Oxfam’s contract management processes are respected.
2. Sub-grants to local delivery partner compliance (50%)
1. Working with the Team leader to manage the administration and oversight of funding direct to smaller organisations as part of the implementation and delivery of fund management mechanism, including due diligence processes and contract administration.
2. Support partners in managing the grant cycles, budget and reporting to ensure donor compliance;
3. provide overall coordination to partner site visits and any compliance activity by engaging relevant staff;
4. engage in capacity sharing activities;
5. support and coordinate the review of partner reports to ensure alignment with donor requirements and identify possible risks.

Minimum requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or diploma
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of basic contract management processes, institutional donors and/or program funding.
• Organisational awareness: ability to find out how to get information and who to keep informed. At least one-year experience of dealing with funding contracts from a range of institutional donors e.g. FCDO, Scottish Government, EU.
• Experience of reviewing financial and narrative reports.
• Experience of working with financial data, strong numeracy and financial skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Skills:
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills and at least three years previous office experience
• Ability to juggle multiple requests and to liaise with many different levels of staff internally and externally.
• Ability to manage own time effectively. Willing and able to adapt priorities in order to respond to changing demands
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to coach others on procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and under pressure.
• Initiative and tenacity.
• Previous experience in fund management to small organisations.
