JOB DETAILS:
Due to our continued evolution and growth, Unicus Media is looking for a knowledgeable and talented Designer with a strong craft and design background to join our creative team. The Designer will be working across our whole client base and alongside the Creative Director to ensure that we deliver work to the highest creative standard, delivered on time and within budget. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities
Working on a variety of design tasks including the design of:
• Brochures & flyers
• Multipage Publications
• Logos, Brand Identity
• Brand Guidelines / Manuals
• Print & Web Adverts
• Mock-ups for screen, Web and Print
• Large Format and Exhibition Print designs
• Social Media Assets

Other
• Interpreting objectives set out in design briefs and creating high-quality design work
• Liaising with clients and meeting deadlines
• Working on the creative and visual aspects of campaign development, contributing ideas and concepts
• Preparing artwork files for print, web, and digital billboards
• Liaising with external agencies/designers where required

Qualifications
• At least 2 year experience within an Artworker / Graphic Designer role
• Deep understanding of colour, colour theory, and typography
• Proficient user of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Technical knowledge of creating and exporting artwork for screen and print including interactive PDF’s
• Working knowledge of creating static and animated digital banners (JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG).
• Knowledge of branding and brand application on various print media
• Previous creative experience in a similar role is preferable
• The ability to self-manage regarding time, organization, responsibilities, etc.
• Have an active learner’s mentality and are comfortable asking for help
• Excellent people skills, diplomacy, and collaborative spirit
• Multi-tasking capabilities, with the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a constantly evolving environment
