JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and new employee orientations.
Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive workplace culture.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems, feedback mechanisms, and career development plans.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize training programs, and promote employee development.
• Finance and Accounting:
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and management of the organization’s budget.
Financial Reporting: Generate financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior management.
Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement financial best practices.
Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll activities, including calculations, deductions, and tax compliance.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Cross-functional Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align HR and financial strategies with the overall business objectives.
Data Analysis: Analyze HR and financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Legal Compliance: Ensure that HR and financial practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Technology Utilization: Implement and leverage HR and financial software and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, CPA, CMA) may be preferred.
Proven experience in both HR and finance roles, with a minimum of 2 years in each.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and financial management principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in HR and financial software/tools.
