Job Description
• Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia works with the world’s most cherished trademark and invests in the most exciting events. Our Office currently has the following opportunity available for a dynamic individual with energy and initiative, keen to impact from the outset.
• The Graduate Trainee Program is designed to give the successful graduate hands-on training in the People and Culture Unit. The candidate will be exposed to learning opportunities with an aim of building their competencies, skills and knowledge in the Human Resource Department with the ultimate view of preparing them for future roles in the business based on performance. The graduate trainee will be required to undergo intensive Development programs for 18 months.
• Key Duties & Responsibilities Focuses on strategic activities, and evaluates HR service and value delivered to the ‘functional’ leadership teams.
• Work with ‘functional’ leaders to translate business needs into clearly articulated and actionable organization and people requirements.
• Facilitates the adoption of CCBA methodologies for organizational design and change management, adding to this through best practice.
• Diagnoses & facilitates the building of people and organization capability required to execute the business strategy.
• Implements capability frameworks and plans that facilitate building the organization’s capabilities, enabling ‘functions’ to deliver on the strategy.
• Drives effective sourcing and development of ‘functional’ leadership and ensures effective management of the ‘functional’ talent pipeline, to meet the short, medium and long term requirements.
• Ensures effective implementation of the Reward strategy within the ‘function’, in line with CCBA HR and local business strategy.
• Enables a high performance, high engagement culture in the ‘function’
• Works with the business to deploy the HR solutions in the functional business units. Provides feedback to Specialist teams about HR solution effectiveness, and work with them to identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Serves as subject matter expert on HR Systems requirements and capability, and ensures employee master data integrity.
• Aligns Reward policies, frameworks and tools in operation in country, as appropriate.
• Supports higher levels of engagement through management of in country compensation and benefits offering.
Skills, Experience & Education
• Must have a Degree with a merit or better in either one of the following Human resources management, Business Administration or any related field; Post graduate qualification/Master's degree in HR Management/Business Management or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Certification and membership of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is MUST.
• Must be a recent graduate from the University within the past 3 years (2019 – 2021)
• GCE O Level certificate holder with a merit in both Sciences and Mathematics
• Excellent communication and team skills
• Highly adaptable
• Must not be more than 30 years old
• Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Strong level of analytical skills and computer literacy.
• In-depth knowledge of the Zambian labour laws and HR best practices
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Experience in FMCG is an added advantage
