JOB DETAILS:
Overview
One of our clients, a well-established company in Zambia is looking for a Senior Elevator or Lift engineer to lead their Elevator and Escalator department. .

Responsibilities
• Fitting and installation of new passenger and goods lifts, escalators, travellators and moving walkways on the basis of technical documents
• Installation and commissioning of elevators
• Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of lifts
• Periodic checks and inspections of lift systems
• Identifying and repairing electrical and mechanical faults and replacing damaged parts
• Upgrading and refurbishing old lift systems
• Supervising and leading units of installers within the company
• Accountable for achieving planned financial result
• Responsible for efficiency measurement and reporting
• Responsible for ensuring labour planning for installation supervisors
• Conducts regular coordination meetings with elevator contractors ensuring they met contract requirements and service level agreements
• Performs Pre-turn over quality inspections before hand over to client and Service Dept.
