JOB DETAILS:
The objective of this role is to initiate and implement interventions that addresses the systematic market and regulatory constraints that hinder access to insurance services for the low-income market segment, particularly, households and individuals that are currently financially excluded. The role requires the Head to manage an agreed technical portfolio and is mainly responsible for the Zambia’s Inclusive Insurance project which involves a) partnership relationship management; b) funding process design and c) project process management and accountability. The portfolio is indicative and additional responsibilities might be assigned to this role as per clients needs. .

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Insurance, Economics, International Development,
Development Economics, and/or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facilitating the development of Insurance service markets
• Strong management capabilities with excellent track record of providing organizational and leadership support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of projects
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills with staff, stakeholders and partners with motivation for high quality service delivery.
• Proven experience in facilitation and motivation of responsive markets for.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and drive design, successful implementation and monitoring of programmes that focus on inclusive insurance.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate creativity for inclusive service and products delivery for the target market.
• Demonstrated ability to package insights for purpose of programme adaptation and improvement.
