About the role:
• Bilam Works Limited is seeking an experienced individual to join their team of experts as a Heavy Equipment Electrician. The ideal candidate must possess a strong electrical background and be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of heavy equipment.. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough electrical diagnostics on heavy equipment to identify faults and malfunctions.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements of electrical components and systems, including wiring, switches, sensors, and control panels.
• Carry out duties independently when called out and report breakdowns and faults
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems efficiently.
• Ensure that all preventive maintenance (electrical) is conducted as defined
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety regulations and standards, reducing potential hazards and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used to facilitate efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Conduct rigorous testing and quality checks on repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to address electrical and mechanical issues comprehensively.
• Recommend and implement electrical upgrades to improve equipment performance, energy efficiency, and safety.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in heavy equipment electrical systems.

Requirements
• At least 3 years of proven work experience on Earthmoving Equipment.
Trade/ Craft certificate in Electrical
• Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems in heavy machinery such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Sinotruck, Hyundai, Shantui, Liugong, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Compensation:
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
