JOB DETAILS:
Biliam works limited is looking for someone to fill in the role of Sales and customer support representative at their branch in Kitwe. Biliam works limited is a company that specializes in supplying of spare parts, as well as maintenance and repairs of earth moving equipment. We are looking for a Heavy equipment technician to join our team.
Job Title; Heavy Equipment Technician
Location; Kitwe, Zambia
Employment Type; Full Time. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Cleaning of Equipment, in and out
• Advising Clients on correct usage of fit/unfit machines
• Performing routine maintenance checks on earthmoving machines such as loaders, excavators, dump trucks etc. such checks including oil levels, temperature levels, greasing, picking out unusual noises etc.
• Carry out routine Engine, hydraulic, transmission, powertrain services at stipulated service hours/ intervals.
• Troubleshooting earthmoving equipment faults ranging from hydraulic, Engine, transmission, powertrain, electrical, etc.
• Repairing of identified faults in a timely and efficient manner ( This may or may not include installation of spare parts/component)
• Compiling reports about fleet faults, persistent faults as well as repairs successfully carried out..

Job Skills:
• Great interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to ensuring the work are is safe for everyone.
• Good vision and hearing.
• The ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology.

  Job Qualifications:
• Diploma/Advanced Certificate or better in Heavy Equipment (Earthmoving) Repairs
• 2-3 Years proven work experience in H.E.R industry
• Valid driver’s license

  Job Education Requirements:
• Diploma/Advanced Certificate or better in Heavy Equipment (Earthmoving) Repairs

Job Experience Requirements:
• 2-3 Years proven work experience in H.E.R industry
