Project Background
The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is a civil society network of 104 members that has been building the voice for the poor in the fight against poverty. It was established in 2000, primarily to ensure that civil society effectively and meaningfully participates in the design, formulation and implementation of the NDPs and further monitor the NDPs to ensure government provides a means by which Zambia can effectively strategize on reducing the escalating levels of poverty.

Project information
The “Accelerating Citizens Efforts towards Pro-poor National Development planning and implementation” project is financed by IM Swedish and implemented by the CSPR. The goal of the project is to influence the inclusive and transparent implementation of the pro-poor programmes in the 7th National Development Plan by 2022.
The project which is being implemented in Mufumbwe and Nchelenge district as well as at National Level, has 3 expected outcomes as follows:
i. Youth and women are economically empowered to participate in the implementation and monitoring of the 7th National Development Plan by the year 2022.
ii. Local communities and Citizens hold their duty bearers accountable for the full implementation of the 7th National Development Plan.
iii. Civil Society and Media are able to effectively participate in the 7th National Development Plan process by government.

Scope
Specifically, the Video Producer shall fulfil the following Terms of Reference:
1.1. Develop the script (in Collaboration with CSPR staff) for the filming, editing and production of the Documentary and short media messages.
1.2. Schedule Interviews with Key Informants for the Documentary from Lusaka.
1.3. Record, compile and edit any other cut outs for the Documentary from different provinces (From Lusaka,Eastern, Luapula, Northwestern)
1.4. Ensure that the following deliverables are fulfilled at the appropriate stage.
a) 30 Minutes Video Documentary. (This Comprises of data from Lusaka Luapula and Northwestern province)
b) 5 Short media messages of 1 minute each on child centred social accountability These should comprise footage from Lusaka, Eastern and Luapula

Timelines
In order to perform this contract, it is anticipated that the Videographer shall work for a period of 15 days.5 days to be spent on shooting while the rest of the days on compiling and editing.
Resources to be provided.
All logistics will be covered by the videographer i.e food and transportation during the period of work.

Qualifications of the Videographer
• Formal education in video/film production.
• Over three (3) years’ experience in the field of video/film production.
• Experience in producing documentaries. Background of video documentaries on Accountability, Human Rights and Public Recourse Management will be an added advantage.
