WE'RE HIRING

4. Human Resource Officer
The ideal candidate is expected to provide core HR activities that support a quality service delivery to Retail Food Company, across the spectrum of day-to-day HR activities.
• To work closely with the Brand Operations Teams and HR team on delivering various HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, retention initiatives, performance management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, talent management & advisory support to key stakeholders.
• To be familiar with employment law, regulations, statutory provisions as well delivering on general administration including HR system processing, production of employee information and payroll

Qualifications
• Minimum diploma in human resources and/or holding a relevant professional qualification such as CIPD
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in providing a generalist HR service. Previous experience within the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of Zambian employment legislation
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to compose routine correspondence
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to recognize & prioritize urgent matters and exercise discretion and confidentiality in all matters.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
• Ability to communicate and monitor the implementation of HR policies & procedures.
• Sound understanding of computer systems hardware/software), networks etc. Excellent IT skills, in particular in relation to HR systems. Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field:
• MSc/MA will be added advantage
• At least ten years of experience managing an IT department
