JOB DETAILS:
The primary role of the Industrial Relations Manager will be to manage employee relations by conducting employee engagements, administering all disciplinary matters, resolving employee conflicts, including consulting and providing guidance to leadership and employees with regard to MSS policy, practices and local labour and employment laws.The Industrial Relations Manager will also be responsible for business development. .
Job Responsibilities:
• Key initiator of new business development targeting medium to large sized accounts for strategic penetration.
• Develop and close substantial businesses.
• Familiarize and explain the Mac conditions of service to new and existing employees.
• Administer all disciplinary matters
• Carry out all recruitments for both our clients and MSS’s
• Track client feedback and employee engagements.
• Conduct labour grievances and arbitrations of employee complaints; liaise with external authorities (e.g. ZFE, ZIHM, Labour office etc) when required.
• Lead engagement with employees, communication, planning, and problem solving to ensure excellent employee and labour relations.
• Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regard to MSS policy and relevant employment laws through coaching, presentations, and training.
• Work closely with HR, finance and operational functional teams in order to drive work
• Evaluate and monitor SLAs with external service providers.

Job Qualifications:
• HR Certification.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of local labour, employment and human resources related laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts, and practices
• Proven experience and a strong understanding of continuous improvement and measurement processes
• Proven business acumen, strong decision-making, and root cause/analysis skills.
• Demonstrated consultative and credibility assessment skills, problem-solving.
• Ability to assess sensitive and complex employee relations issues in a confidential, objective, and systematic manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively, lead and influence at all levels within the organization, and make decisions while keeping partners and leaders informed.
• Proven ability to challenge organizational thinking
• Demonstrated strong integration and research skills.
• Demonstrated strong written/verbal communication and facilitation/presentation skills.
Job Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
Job Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years working experience.
