JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
1. To help the successful candidates increase knowledge and skills in Audit and Compliance in the Public Sector through practical work experience.
2. To provide administrative support to the Internal Audit Unit in the day to dayoperations.

Responsibilities
• Assisting in audit planning and risk assessment activities;
• Conducting substantive testing and verification procedures;
• Compiling and analysing audit evidence;
• Drafting clear and concise audit findings and recommendations;
• Participating in audit discussions and meetings; and
• Perform any other duty as may be required by the supervisor from time to time.

Required Skills and Attributes
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail;
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Integrity and confidentiality;
• Knowledge in utilising auditing software and Microsoft Office 365; and
• An eagerness to learn and contribute within a team environment
• Good report writing skills.

Eligibility Criteria
• Must be a Zambian citizen
• Must have a Grade 12 certificate with University entrance passes
• Must have a Degree in Accountancy, CIMA, ACCA, ZICA, CA or Equivalent
• Applicants should have graduated not more than three (3) years ago
