JOB DETAILS:
A fast growing company in both the Educational and Hospitality frontier is looking for an Intern Special Education Teacher

Minimum Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding and the ability to implement various effective teaching methods including literacy skills.
• Ability to modify the curriculum to ensure that it is accessible to students with learning disabilities.
• Thorough understanding of policies, laws, and guidelines related to special education.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literate
• Must be patient and passionate about learning disability inclusion

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and English required
• Grade 12 certificate
• Appropriate Special Education and Teaching Council Practicing Certifications are required.
• Minimum of one year of experience is highly preferred.
• Must be able to assist students who have learning disabilities.
• Ability or experience in handling SEN students with autism, dyslexia and dyscalculia will be an added advantage.
