JOB DETAILS:
The position reports to the Inventory Manager.
Key Performance Areas
• Partner with Inventory Manager to achieve optimal onsite Inventory stock holding from both a financial and operational perspective.
• Support the Inventory Manager in implementing effective Inventory management process & managing daily stores activities (Receiving).
• Support the Inventory Manager in implementing effective Inventory management process & managing daily stores activities (Issuing).
• Lead, manage and develop Inventory Operational teams.
• Ensure compliance to inventory management policies, strategy, processes, and guidelines, taking into account user needs.
• Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies, and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).

Minimum specifications / Requirements areas
• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Advanced CIPS/Degree in Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain Management,/ Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar role (Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain management experience will be an added advantage)
• Demonstrated understanding of stores management and Inventory management systems and processes.
• Demonstrable track record in managing teams.
• Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).
