About the Internship:
This internship program starts with classroom instruction on accounting fundamentals, financial modeling, valuation, and Excel. Through hands-on experience and ongoing education, you’ll develop core investment banking skills to help support our clients’ businesses while launching your career in the industry. You’ll benefit from direct exposure on deals and transactions and interact with clients.
On the Job Experience:
You’ll join our team, developing meaningful solutions for clients or executing high-value transactions. This program will provide the skills and experience to become a thoughtful, strategic advisor. You’ll learn the nature of client service and how we build long-term relationships by putting their needs first, while developing the technical acumen to launch a career in banking and finance.
Training:
You’ll begin with a week of training to understand our products, services and business practices. We provide supplemental training before you start as well as extensive on-the-job training. You’ll develop your professional network through various opportunities to interact with people from across the business as well as other interns. We’ll pair you with mentors to help you navigate the firm as well as provide career advice and make sure you’re developing your skills.
Career Progression:
Top performing interns may receive an offer to join us as a full-time analyst at the end of the internship program. We will as well assist other interns to get job placements with our clients and business stakeholders. .

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and recommend new ideas for potential investment, including strategies that improve return and reduce portfolio risk.
• Research investment ideas and trends to identify and present new investment concepts and solutions for potential incorporation into the investment program.
• Perform research and quantitative analysis.
• Ensure that best practices in benchmarking, peer analysis, and other assessment tools are implemented and used to facilitate improvements in investment results.
• Monitor and advise investment team on external trends and events (e.g. market, regulatory, accounting) impacting the investment portfolios.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• No experience required. Intern will be under training.
• Knowledge of markets and investment analysis, in support of the incorporation of investment ideas and strategies that benefit portfolios.

• Excellent writing ability
• Candidate must have strong knowledge and skills in MSExcel, PPT, Word and Outlook..

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a business related course is required.
