INVITATION FOR BIDS
Mbala Municipal Council has received Constituency Development Funds and wishes to apply part of the proceeds for the eligible payments under the contract for the purchase of (1) Tipper Truck.
Mbala Municipal Council now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to supply and deliver the above equipment-brand new (1) Tipper Truck.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain information, inspect and purchase the bidding document from the Mbala Municipal Council, Procurement and Supplies Unit, AK Wilombe Lane, P.O box 420057 Mbala upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMW 1000.00, the payment may be deposited in bank: ATLASMARA, Mbala Branch, Account Number - 0212858934507, Account Name Constituency Development Fund. The telephone number is +260976861083/0971921116. HOWEVER, TELEGRAPHIC OR TELEFAX BIDS WILL NOT
BE ACCEPTED.
Sealed and bound bids clearly marked "Supply and Delivery of Tipper Truck" addressed to the Town Clerk. Mbala Municipal Council, must be deposited in the tender box at Mbala Municipal Council. Administration Block Foyer, AK Wilombe Lane, Mbala on or before Tuesday 14th October 2023 at 10:00 Local Time. Bidders are requested to submit one (1) original and three (3) copies of their bids and accompanied by 2% bid security from an insurance company or financial institution registered in Zambia.
The method of procurement being used is Open National bidding and is restricted to Citizen Bidders only as provided for in section No. 39 (2) and (3) of the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020.
The bids will be opened soon after closing in the Council Chamber, Mbala Municipal Council A K Wilombe Lane, Mbala, in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall NOT be accepted.
