INVITATION TO TENDER
Mafinga Town Council received the 2023 Constituency Development Funds from the Government Republic of Zambia through the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development and desires to procure school desks and works from reputable Contractors and Suppliers.
The Council now invites for sealed bids from eligible Bidders to participate in the tenders as indicated in the bidding document on the Zambia Public Procurement Authority e.GP platform.
Bidding will be conducted through Open Bidding National as specified in the Public Procurement Act of 2020 and Public Procurement Regulation of 2022 and is restricted to any eligible citizen bidders.
Bids must be clearly marked specifying the tender title, tender number and Lot in which the bidder is participating.
Interested bidders can obtain further Information and/or inspect the bidding document on the e.GP Platform.
Participation fee per Lot is at a non-refundable fee of K500 (Five Hundred Kwacha) for works and K1,000 (One Thousand Kwacha) for school desks. Complete bidding documents to be submitted through the ZPPA e.GP platform on or before 28th August 2023 at 14:00hrs. Bids must be clearly marked indicating the Lot and Project name. Alternative bids shall be rejected. Bid opening shall be done online on the e.GP platform immediately after 14:30 Hrs.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (Bank Guarantee or Bid Bond) of 2% of the bid sum.
Mafinga Town Council reserves the right to accept or reject and annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contract without incurring any liability to the affected bidders.
